Distance and diverse lives meant we didn’t see much of each over the years - but always kept in touch and up to date for almost 30 years. Lilian was someone I admired for her sheer “Get up and go” - always thinking of others - particularly those close to her. Two memories: she told me once that she had a CEMENT MIXER for a present! More recently her idea of celebrating her 80th Birthday was by jumping out of an aircraft! Fond memories of a special lady - Rest in Peace

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
